사용자 경험 분석을 통한 이동형 치과용 CR 스캐너의 디자인 개선방향

Abstract

인구고령화, 예기치 못한 전염병 확산 등 전례 없던 사회적 변화로 건강관리에 대한 관심과 의료산업의 중요성이 높아지면서 의료기 산업 또한 지속적 성장세를 보이고 있다. 의료기 산업발전의 영향으로 전자의료기 영역에서는 디지털화와 함께 환자의 안전제고와 오류방지를 위한 사용성 강화문제가 부각되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 디지털 의료기 품질개선의 모색차원에서 사용자 경험분석을 통한 이동형 치과용 CR 스캐너의 디자인 개선 방향 도출을 목적으로 두었다. 개발제품의 사용자 경험의 분석을 위해 UX디자인 전문가 12명을 대상으로 발견적 평가 관점의 실험 및 조사를 실시했다. 수집 결과의 분석에는 비모수적 통계검증의 정량적 방법과 관찰‧인터뷰 자료에서 인사이트를 도출하는 정성적 방법을 적용했다. 개발제품의 사용전‧후 경험과 관계되는 심미적 사용성과 경험사용성의 비교를 위한 윌콕슨 검정을 통해 제품의 사용경험은 심미적 요소 기반의 기대경험보다 만족스럽지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 제품 사용후의 전반적 경험(만족도)과 제품구성요소 간의 상관관계 분석결과, 물리적 UI, 피드백, 디지털UI, 트레이의 상관성이 관찰되었고, 특히 디지털UI는 다른 여러 요소와 상관성이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이에 따라 디지털 UI요소 중심의 개선안이 필요한 것으로 보인다. 탐색‧제안된 내용은 해당제품의 사용자경험개선과 사용자 중심 의료기 디자인 개발 풍토구축에 기여할 수 있겠지만 소수의 전문가 중심의 방법론적 한계를 갖는다. Unprecedented societal changes such as population aging and unexpected pandemic diseases draw more attention to healthcare, highlighting the importance of the medical industry and leading to the growth of the medical device industry. As the market s saturation increases, so do the competition. The thriving medical device industry needs to have in common to build reliable products featured with digitalization and enhanced usability for patients safety and end-user satisfaction. This study aims to create the specific design directions of a digital portable dental CR scanner to improve user experience with these conditions. To identify the difficulties of the device in use, a heuristic evaluation accompanied by observation and interview was conducted with twelve UX designers. To get insights from the test results, non-parametric statistics were applied, and the observation and interview data were referred. When comparing the before-use experience to the after-use one through a Wilcoxon test, it is discovered that the product has higher aesthetic usability than experienced usability. Meanwhile, a Spearman test to figure out the correlation between the product’s overall experience and product components says physical UI, feedback, the tray, and digital UI are significant Based on the findings, a solution focusing on digital UI design was developed. This study would improve the device s user experience and build a user-centered plan for the medical device. Nonetheless, this study has a methodological limit depending on a small number of professionals and unconfirmed solutions that haven’t tested.
