나미카와 야스유키(並河靖之) 작품연구 - 클루아조네 에나멜 기법을 중심으로-

Abstract

일본의 에나멜 기술은 19세기 중반에 시작했지만, 짧은 시간에 매우 빨리 변화했다. 나미카와 야스유키는 검은색 투명유약을 개발하여 일본 에나멜을 세계가 주목하는 공예품으로 발전시켰다. 그의 작품에 쓰인 클루아조네 기법은 에나멜에서 가장 오래된 기법으로 금속선이 에나멜 표면에 보여 색상의 대비를 더욱 명확하게 하며 선적인 요소만으로 섬세하고 화려한 장식 효과를 주는 것이 특징이다. 이에 연구자는 일본의 클루아조네 에나멜의 개념과 기법을 파악하고 일본의 에나멜의 시대적 배경과 이를 성장시킨 나미카와 야스유키 작품의 조형적 특징을 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구를 통해 나미카와 작품에 표현된 에나멜이 어떻게 발전되어지고 앞으로 나아가야 할 에나멜의 방향에 보탬이 되고자 한다. Japanese enamel technology began in the mid-19th century, but changed very quickly in a short time. Namikawa Yasuyuki made Japanese enamel a craft of global attention. In particular, the Cloisonné technique used in his works is the oldest technique in enamel, and the metal lines appear on the surface of the enamel to make the contrast of colors more clear and to give a delicate and colorful decoration effect only by the linear elements. Therefore, the researcher wants to grasp the concept and technique of Japan s Cloisonné enamel and to examine the historical background of Japanese enamel and the formative features of Yamiyuki Namikawa s work that grew it. Through this study, I will develop the enamel expressed in Namikawa s works and contribute to the direction of enamel to move forward.
