공공스포츠센터의 공공성에 대한 인식이 스포츠복지 인식에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 공공스포츠센터 이용객을 대상으로 공공스포츠센터의 공공성에 대한 인식을 조사하고 스포츠복지 인식에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 공공스포츠센터의 역할과 가치를 파악하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 서울과 경기 지역의 공공스포츠센 터 5곳을 선정한 후 표집된 520명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중·장년층에서 공공스포츠센터의 공공성에 대한 인식이 높은 것으로 나타나 공공스포츠센터가 누구나에게 스포츠참여를 보장한다는 점에 서 공공의 역할을 충실히 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자주 스포츠센터에 참여하는 집단에서 스포츠복지는 평등성이 중요하다고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 공공스포츠센터의 참여를 통해 신체건강을 유지 발전시키는 것이 공공성이며, 이러한 인식이 높을수록 스포츠복지에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 공공스포츠센터는 건강한 삶을 위해 누구나 참여가능해야 하며 이러한 평등성의 실천이 곧 스포츠복지의 실현인 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to understand the role and value of public sport centers by examining the perception of publicness of public sport centers and investigating the effects on the sport welfare. To achieve the aim, data were collected from 520 participants of public sport centers in metropolitan areas via survey method. Results showed that there were positive perception of publicness of the public sport centers among middle and older people. It means the public sport centers play a pivotal role in that it guarantees to the public that individuals participate in sports. Second, a group with frequently participating in sport centers indicated the importance of equality in sport welfare. Third, publicness was related to keeping healthy through the participation of public sport centers, and higher perception of this mind is positively associated with the sport welfare. For our healthy life, in conclusion, using public sport centers should be available for everyone, and the practice of equality is the feasibility of sport welfare.
