dc.description.abstractIn the recent business management, supply chain management (SCM) is an area that has received a great deal of attention. As the advantages of applying SCM is reported, many companies are trying to design and execute more efficient supply chain system. In these activities, one of most important things is to manage the existing system through investigating of various changes in internal and external environments. Flexibility is defined as the ability of a system or facility to adjust to changes in its environment. For efficient management of supply chain system, the development of flexibility measure is needed. Although, there are no standard measures which are accepted in all environments, it is thought as the standard of various activities such as supplier selection, implementation of the system and so on. But the research about flexibility in supply chain system is little. In this paper, the supply chain flexibility is defined. Also, flexibility measures in supply chain system are suggested.en_US
