Mobile PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)를 활용한 위치정보기반의 교량 유지관리 시스템

Abstract

현재의 건설 산업은 IT화라는 시대적 요구를 바탕으로 건설 IT화를 추진하여 건설공사의 시행과 그 관리에 있어 보다 효율적인 방법들을 찾는 연구를 진행하고 있지만, 현재까지 건설 산업의 특징 상 발생하는 문제점들에 부딪혀 그러한 노력들은 전반적으로 큰 실효를 거두고 있지 못한 실정에 와있다. 특히 건설산업의 업무는 이동성이 요구되는 자연 환경에 그대로 노출된 열악한 환경 하에서 진행되고 있어 현재 건설현장에서 업무에 사용되는 각종 전산화 장비의 효율적 가동은 제한적으로 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 현장과 사무실과의 이원성은 각종 건설업무의 이중 작업과, 착오 등의 오류를 불러일으키는 요인으로 판단되며 이와 같은 문제점은 최근 미래의 IT기술의 핵심으로 부상하고 있는 무선 통신(Mobile Communication)기술 및 무선통신 인프라의 활용으로 문제점들을 보완할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 기존의 전산 시스템을 통하여 관리가 이루어지는 교량구조물의 유지관리 체계를 기반으로 무선통신이 가능한 단말기를 추가시킨 유지관리 시스템을 구상하였으며 건설 유지관리 업무에서 요구되는 현장과 사무실간의 이원적 환경 요소를 극복하는데 중점을 두었다. 이와 같은 목표는 관리기술의 향상과 효율성 증대가 필수적으로 대두되고 있는 건설산업의 현실에서 시설물 유지 관리에 필요한 각종 자료의 논리적 연계와 정보를 제공할 수 있는 체계적인 시설물 유지관리시스템의 요구에 부합하는 것이다.

Currently, in spite of continual efforts, the information utility of the construction industry does not communicate well with other industries. This problem arose from mistaken and misguided efforts on the parts of the construction industry because it left out of consideration construction characteristics which are at the center of construction, and this information system was directly introduced and operated from outside the industry. There were also other mistakes that the existing information systems disregarded in trying to fix these problems. Therefore, this study describes a new process, which proposes to build and utilize a Bridge Management System using the mobile internet concept, to solve the problems of the existing construction information management system.
