- Abstract
- The expansion of cyberspace and wide use of internet brought so much changes on our living life, especially on education. Guy Sorman had a positive and optimistic vision on the digital culture. The digital becomes a possibility of culture producer and culture acceptor. The opportunity of self-manifestation and self-exposure toward multitudes through the digital is transforming the contemporary society into new community, new educational community. The cyberspace is a mode of life nowadays. However the uncertainty and anxiety over every social dimensions prevails because of nonlinear, unexpected digital development. The emocracy(digital democracy) and the digital capitalism intertwined their social members freely and rapidly. The digital divides and the knowledge divides are widened and the riches are getting richer. The human relations were getting worsened through the offenses and defenses of the digital networks. The morally sound cyberspace reconstruction is necessary for realizing human value in this turbulent world. The cyberspace needs to reestablish the human identity through the educational reformation. The education aims always to live right and to keep moral purity. We shouldn`t not forsake this valuable ideal. Beware of the instrumentalism of education and the commercialism stressing only on convenience and money via internet using. We have a duty to make our society sustainable even in this digital world.
