Abstract
Nowadays, the amount of waste concrete has been increasing owing to redevelopment and reconstruction. And environmental disruption has been appearing by gaining aggregate. Therefore Using recycled aggregate has environment advantage. This paper describes the experimental study of the feasibility of reusing the recycled aggregate. Ten types of reinforced concrete beam were tested. A Variable is replacement ratios of coarse aggregate that are 0, 15, 30, 50, 100%. The other variable is concrete strength. The behavior of the beams is described in terms of deflection, failure modes and crack patterns. The results clarified that using recycled coarse aggregate concrete for structural members dominantly subject to bending moment had little affect except type of 100% replacement.
