dc.description.abstractSupplier selection process has received considerable attention in the business-management literature. Determining suitable suppliers in the supply chain has become a key strategic consideration. However, the nature of these decisions usually is complex and unstructured. These influence factors can be divided into quantitative and qualitative factors. In this paper, a Multi-Criteria Supplier Selection(MCSS) model is proposed to deal with the supplier selection and order quantity allocation problems in the supply chain management. In the first level, linguistic values based on fuzzy theory are used to assess the ratings for the qualitative factors such as profitability, relationship closeness and quality etc. In the second level a MCSS model determines the final solution by considering quantitative factors such as price, production time, delivery time and storage cost with qualitative values.en_US
