dc.description.abstractThe objective of this paper is to introduce a reference model of fire detection and monitoring system that can be appliable to high-rise building. In order to secure flexibility and expandability, the reference model is operated on the basis of BACnet which is the standard communication protocol for building automation systems. In this study, a simulator for the reference model of fire detection and monitoring system is developed. Using the simulation model, this study verifies that the reference model satisfies the requirements of fire detection facility in the high-rise building.en_US
