Abstract
This paper considers the time-dependent double-diffusive convective Darcy flow in a semi-infinite channel. An exponential decay estimate in terms of the distance from the finite end of the channel is obtained from a second-order differential inequality for a weighted energy integral. The paper also indicates how to bound the total weighted energy. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science (USA).
