The purpose of this study is the development and application of the high strength-self compacting concrete(SCC) which can be filled from the bottom in the 22m rectangular steel tube column. This self compacting concrete, while having a slump flow value of about 70cm and a compressive strength of 50MPa, maintains high fluidity without segregation and can be filled inside steel tubes column without vibration compaction. From the experimental study, it was found that there were the suitable viscosity of concrete for improving the pumpability, segregation resistance and the filling characteristics, which are highly dependent on the chemical admixtures such as superplasticizer and viscosity agent in addition to general mix proportion. It was also found that the portable pump pressure car with capacity of 130 bar was satisfied to fill up the high strength-self compaction concrete from the bottom of steel tube column.en_US
