dc.description.abstractIn the PCA 1ιad Contour Method. the biaxial bending design coefficient of colurnns(ß) is based on the equivalent rectangu1ar stress block (RSB). And coefficient of ß estirnates the reinforcement index to be a influencing parameter on biaxial moment s\rength of RC co1umns without considering the arbitrary condition of bar arrangement. The experimental resu1ts of high strength concrete (HSC) colurnns subjected to combined axial load and biaxial bending moment were compared \0 the analysis results of RSB method As result. the accuracy of RSB method is still acceptab1e for HSC co1urnns and. as the reinforcement is placed densely in each corner of colurnn section. the ß is decreased‘en_US
