In this study, an organic Rankine cycle for a liquid desiccant system (ORCLD) was designed and developed using a district heat source wasted in the cooling season, and experimental study was conducted to investigate the performance characteristics of the ORCLD. Novec649 was used as a working fluid of ORC, and the test bed for ORC system can supply over 50°C of inlet desiccant solution in the regenerator of liquid desiccant system. The overall efficiency of ORC in terms of energy use was 85%.en_US
