dc.description.abstractThis study aims to suggest the liquid desiccant ventilation system which can provide both ventilation and water heating. The energy benefits of suggested system was evaluated compared with a conventional variable air volume (VAV) system when it was applied on the office building. The detailed energy simulation was conducted using TRNSYS 18 and Engineering Equation Solver (EES) program. It was found that the proposed system can reduce the cooling and heating energy consumption over 81% and 10% compared with the reference system during the summer season. Finally, over 27% of total primary energy during the summer season can be reduced by use of the proposed system.en_US
