Abstract
With the increase of film thickness, the broad bands of imaginary permeability appeared in both (Fe7Co3)1 xBx and
(Fe7Co3)BN thin films although they had different magnetic and microstructural properties. These broad bands were
appraised by numerical calculation based on a Landau.Lifshitz.Gilbert equation. As a result, the broad imaginary
permeability bands of two films could be explained by the changes of free energy density induced by microstructural
demagnetization and magnetostriction terms, respectively.
