고등학교 1학년 음악교과서의 국악감상영역 지도방안 연구

Abstract

음악에 대한 흥미는 음악 교육의 시작이면서 목표이기도 하며, 평생 동안 좋은 음악에 흥미를 가지고 음악문화를 향유하는 삶을 살게 하려는 것이 음악 교육의 중요한 목표가 된다. 이 밑바탕에 국악이 자리 잡고 있어야만 앞으로 자신감 있는, 자기표현이 분명한 학생으로 성장해야 할 것이다. 국악감상을 통해 청소년들의 자존감이 올바르게 성장하여 세계화, 정보화 시대에 한국인으로서 중심을 잃지 않는 주역이 되어야 할 것이다. 고등학교 1학년 8종 음악교과서를 중심으로 국악감상영역에서 내용별, 시대별, 장르별로 게재되어 있는 곡을 "초·중·고등학교 국악교육내용 통일안"을 기준으로 분류하고 분석해 보았으며, 분석내용을 바탕으로 국악감상수업에 접근하는 방법을 제시하였고, 학교에서 국악감상수업에 활용될 지도안을 작성하여 제시하는 것을 목적으로 연구하였다. 첫째, 음악 감상교육에 대한 의의와 목표와 국악교육의 의의와 필요성, 그리고 국악교육의 역사적 배경 등의 이론적 배경을 조사해 보았다. 둘째, 음악교과서에 국악감상곡이 게재되어 있는 출판사별 순서는 현대음악출판사가 32곡, (주)두산이 24곡, (주)교학사가 23곡, 대한교과서(주)가 22곡, 세광음악출판사가 21곡, (주)천재교육이 18곡, 도서출판 태성이 17곡, (주)박영사가 10곡으로 분석된 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 고등학교 1학년 8종 음악교과서의 국악감상영역의 분석내용을 살펴보면, 총 게재된 양이 82곡으로 나타났다. 전 8종 음악교과서에 공통적으로 수록된 곡은 〈수제천〉이었으며, 그 다음으로 〈종묘제례악〉, 〈시나위〉, 〈영산회상〉 등이 6종의 음악교과서에 언급되어 있다. 〈산조〉, 〈유산가〉 등이 5종의 음악교과서에서, 범패 중〈홋소리〉와〈짓소리〉,〈보허자〉,〈백구사〉,〈대바람 소리〉등이 4종의 음악교과서에서 언급되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 국악사 시대별 분석을 해본 결과 조선 후기에 해당하는 근대음악이 45곡이 게재되어 제일 많았으며, 다음으로 창작음악 분야인 현대음악이 26곡, 중세시대의 음악이 4곡, 고대시대의 음악이 3곡, 조선시대 전기에 해당하는 근세음악이 1곡 등의 순서로 내용이 분석되었다. 다섯째, 장르별 분류하고 분석해보니 전통음악 감상영역이 총 54곡, 창작음악 영역이 26곡으로 나타났다. 전통음악 중에 민속음악은 31곡, 선비음악은 12곡, 궁정음악은 7곡, 종교음악은 4곡으로 분류 및 분석이 되었다. 점차 창작음악 영역의 중요성을 느낄 수 있는 내용이었다. 여섯째, 황병기 작곡의 가야금 독주곡 〈침향무〉, 〈수제천〉, 이상규 작곡의 대금 협주곡 〈대바람 소리〉를 활용해 국악감상수업에 접근하는 방법을 제시하였고, 학교에서 국악감상수업에 활용될 수 있도록 지도방안을 제시하였다. 우리 민족의 다양한 정서가 함축된 국악은 우리의 숨결과 가장 밀착된 전통문화의 한 갈래라 할 수 있는 것이며, 우리는 우리의 노래, 가락의 멋의 상징인 국악을 등한시 해온 것 또한 사실이다. 국악 교육에 관심을 갖지 않을 수 없는 이유가 바로 “우리의 것”, “우리의 멋”을 망각하며 정신을 잃어가고 있는 우리 내면에 모습에 있다. 근본이 있는 음악교육을 강조하려면 국악 교육은 필수적일 수밖에 없다. 국악을 통해 청소년들의 정서가 순화되고 자존감이 성장해 있을 때, 세계 모든 음악을 사랑하고 즐기는 세계인으로 성장할 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 조화롭고 풍부한 정서를 가진 한국인으로 성장할 수 있을 것이다. 다문화주의 세계 속에서 주역이 되어 널리 한국 음악을 전파하여 세계의 중심이 되는 예술의 한 장르로 승화될 수 있을 것이며, 청소년들의 자존감이 올바르게 성장하여 세계화, 정보화 시대에 한국인으로서 중심을 잃지 않는 주역이 되어야 할 것이다.; The interest in music is not only the starting point but also the goal of the education of music. The genuine object of the education of music is to motivate students have interest and to enjoy the culture of music for the life time. On the base of the education must be nestled the Korean classical music because the teenagers can grow up their confidence and self-expression through our own culture, the Korean classical music. The adolescents in Korea would become leaders without losing their identity in the global information age through the Korean classical music. Focused on the eight kinds of music Textbooks for the first grade high school students, I have studied on the teaching methods of the Korean classical music appreciation in various aspects. Especially I have analyzed the textbooks partly dividing as content, age and genre by "the unified plan of the Korean classical music in our elementary and secondary school". I have suggested the approaching method to the Korean classical music and teaching plan of useful method of it in this thesis. Above all, I have studied on the significance and goal of the appreciation of music. And then I have studied on the significance and goal of the appreciation of the Korean classical music in general and on the historical background of it. The Korean classical music has gradually improved relating to quantity , but not to quality because the social environment has not been matured. Now it is considered that much improvement has made through trials and errors. Second, the study shows that the sum total of the pieces dealing with the Korean classical music is 82 in 8 kinds of music textbooks in Korea. Among the 82, the textbook published by Hyun Dai publishing company takes majority of amount and ratio including 32 pieces, Doo San takes 24 pieces, Kyo Hak-Sa 23 pieces, Dae Han-Kyokwasu 22 pieces, Seo Kwang 21 pieces, Chun Jae-Kyoyuk 18 pieces, Tae Sung 17 pieces, Park Young-Sa 10 pieces. Third, I have studied the contents of the eight kinds of music Textbooks for the first grade high school students. All kinds of textbooks have 〈Su-Jae-Chun〉. And 〈Chong-Myo-Jae-Rye-Ahk〉, 〈the concert Shi-Na-We〉, 〈Young-San-Hei-Sang〉 are included in 6 kinds of textbooks. 〈The solo San-Jo〉 and 〈Yu-San-Ga〉 are included in 5 kinds of textbooks, 〈Bym-Pae(Hot-Sori, Jit-Sori), 〈Po-He-Ja〉, 〈Back-Gu-Sa〉 and 〈Dae-Param- Sori〉 are in 4 kinds of textbooks. Fourth, I have analyzed the textbooks by age. The result indicates that there are 45 pieces of Modern music after the late Chosun Dynasty, 26 of creative Modern music, 4 of Middle Ages' music, 3 of Primitive music and 1 of Modern music in the early Chosun Dynasty. Fifth, I have analyzed the textbooks by genre. The result indicates that the textbooks have 54 pieces of the Korean classical music. Among them, 26 are the pieces of creative music, 31 of folk music, 12 of the nobility's music, 7 of the Royal music and 4 of religious music. Sixth, the result indicated that the Solo <Chim-Hyang-Moo>, <Soo-Jae- Chun>, by Whang Byung Ki, <Dae-Param-Sori> by Lee Sang Kyu, are showing the approaching method of appreciation of the Korean classical music. And they are also showing the teaching method of it in schools. The Korean classical music which is full of Korean sentiment is a kind of traditional culture connected to the breath of Korea. Nevertheless, we are ignorant of our music which is ours and the symbol of Korean melody and rhythm. That's why we should have an interest in the education of the Korean classical music . If not, we will lose “our spirit” and “our elegance". It is essential to teach the Korean classical music for deep-rooted music education and so Korean teenagers' feelings can be refined and grow up as citizens of the world who love the world music. They also can have understanding and rich feelings toward the world, and they can let the world know the Korean classical music and make it a genre of world art.
