Abstract
우리의 다음 세대들은 이러한 다문화 시대의 영향을 더욱 더 크게 받을 것이며 이때 우리의 문화를 좀 더 배우고 이해하지 못한다면 우리는 정체성을 잃고 여러 문화 속에서 가치관의 혼란을 겪게 될 것이다. 전통미술을 올바로 체득하고 거기서 느낀 감흥과 아동의 창의력으로 디자인 학습이 이루어 질 수 있는 방향을 모색해 보았다. 본 연구는 우리의 전통 문화를 올바로 인식하고 그것을 충분히 내면화하여 우리다운 디자인으로 표현할 수 있도록 하는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 이론적 배경을 제시하여 전통미술교육과 디자인 교육, 통합교과 교육론에 대하여 개념파악을 할 수 있도록 하였으며 서울지역의 초등학교 4∼6학년 교사와 미술교과 전담교사를 대상으로 설문지를 배포하여 그 결과를 분석하여 초등학교 전통 미술 교육의 실태를 알아보고 문제점을 분석해 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 통합교과적 디자인 학습 지도 방안을 제시하였다.; The world gets closer and the culture communicating speed in the world is faster than past time, due to development of computer, internet & many kinds of technology. Under the circumstance, our descendants will be affected more than us and they would lose their identity and be experienced confused standard of values among worldwide & various cultures, if they don't learn and understand our own culture properly. In the same sense of art education, the various and every each countries' cultures can be adapted, enjoyed and filtered properly, as we can understand, feel and re-evaluate our ancestors' consciousness and emotion in cultural activity. We think that our design education is treated indifferently among other art fields while it affect our students very much in motivation of originality. We won't be educated and did adequate design education which had traditional & contemporary sense, in school, even though our most traditional design gets spotlight and is highlighted in the world. I tried to find how to educate design subject to our students by the means of feeling and student's originality which come from our traditional arts. This study aimed to let our students represent and express our traditional arts by the most korean design, after they fully understand, recognize and internalize ours. I suggested theoretical background which give the understanding of the concept and general idea about traditional art education, design education, and integral curriculum. Based on questionnaire analysis about traditional art education situation in primary school, we know that the traditional education is emphasized strongly in the 7th curriculum, but there aren't practical and concrete method of education and enough time for the traditional art lessons and no effective education by lack of appreciation opportunity and resources. In order to solve these problems and make more effective lessons of traditional arts, it require enough time to appreciate, express and re-develop the sense of arts and beauty on the one theme. But, the time for it is not so enough. Thus I suggest the integrated lessons among other subjects to give time to think, make plan, express and appreciate enough the tradition arts. Though the traditional arts education is necessary to our young students, teachers in the fields has less importance on it. In addition, the 7th curriculum emphasized it, but no concrete and practical teaching methods in it, thus the lesson become just simple appreciation and expression activity used the feeling. Abundant resources, various audio-visual materials and easier and more systematic approach on the traditional arts can be more effective method of eduction and make our students understand it easily. We, teachers have to let them experience it by expression, appreciate contemporary arts which came from traditional arts, and invent traditional arts in the new view points by means of their own discussion. Cooperation-learning which is composed of korean design discovery and invention should occur to consistently in the education fields. Thus, we can make macroscopic traditional arts education, in stead of microscopic one.
