학교에서 학생들이국악에 대해 흥미를 갖고 능동적으로 학습하기 위한 방법이 필요하다. 교과서에 수록되어 있는 국악 장르 중 가장 많이 차지하고 있는 민요를 제재곡으로 협동학습에 적용시켜 학습자들이 능동적이고 자기 주도적으로 학습할 수 있다. 이것은 민요에 대해 관심을 가질 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 나아가서 다른 국악 장르에도 영향을 미친다.; Our music culture inherited from the past determined on the identity. Therefore we need to be active in the Korean Classical Music with it. Especially, folk song is in a great value of the education because it in the contents is relatively short and simple against other fields of Kuk-Ak, and implies the emotion to the life. If having effectively instructed all of students folk song with useful elements, we could also make an increase of interest on Kuk-Ak.
When giving a lesson in folk song, we should consider the educational method which makes students join the work actively. We designate this method as a cooperative learning. It leads them to take the initiative and be fully absorbed in learning. In addition to searching on a subject and task of learning, the responsibility will be taken individually. If the cooperative learning is fully offered to folk song, the efficiency of learning will improve with their initiative on learning as well as interest in folk song.
There are various kinds of the cooperative learning such as STAD, TGT, Jigsaw, GI, Co-op and small structure-oriented. In this research, this program mentioned above links to two of the most popular songs, one for (Han-O-Back-Ryn) and other for (Jin-Do-A-Ri-Rang), placed in music text book of secondary school, related to the guidelines for teaching. It totally follows the different selection with its objective and content. Besides, in an effort to consist of the indicated songs in three-step classes, the main elements of the music-the melody, instrument, composition and listening to music will be integrated in the class.
Most of all, the guidelines of teaching follow in procedure that the former is given to all learners with some types of STAD, Jigsaw and small structure-oriented and they have a good harmony in playing and singing, and the latter with STAD, small structure-oriented and GI in performing of So-Geum.
Finally, the instruction using the cooperative learning takes several advantages of increasing understanding, presentation, class participation and improving confidence. In this curriculum, all students will obtain a great result in the efficiency of learning in the four fields mentioned. The course of learning based on lively participation creates a self motivation to folk song and furthermore will be the essential for the inheritance and development of Korean culture of music.
