수학교과와 과학교과의 통합교육을 위한 연구

Abstract

정보화 시대에 들어 과학 기술의 급격한 발전과 거대한 정보의 축적을 통하여 여러 분야들은 얽히고설킨 유기적인 관계를 맺고 사회를 이루고 있다. 이렇게 사회가 복잡해짐으로 인해 발생되는 문제들 역시 복잡하다. 급변하는 사회의 복잡성을 교육이 반영하지 못해 교육과 현실의 유리가 날로 깊어지고 있다. 이러한 사회와 교육의 연결의 부재에 대한 많은 경각심이 촉구되었고 교과과정의 통합에 대한 움직임이 시도되어 왔다. 교과과정의 통합은 여러 분야의 융합으로 이루어져야 하며 교과 중에서 연관성이 깊은 수학교과와 과학교과 역시 통합교육을 위한 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 본 논문에서는 수학교과와 과학교과의 통합교육의 이론적 기초가 될 수 있는 근거를 알아보았다. 그리고 제 7차 교육과정에서 사용되는 중학교 수학과 과학 교과서 비교를 통해 교육과정상의 문제점을 살펴보았고 교사와 학생의 설문조사를 통해 수학과 과학교과의 연관성에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 수학교과와 과학교과의 연관성을 인식하고 실제 교육현장에 적용할 수 있는 연구가 계속 되기를 기대한다.; With information age, our society is closely related to every field through scientific advanced knowledge and information accumulation. The complicated society brings also about the complicated problems. An education cannot deal with complexify of our society, the difference between education and reality deepens. The lack of connection between education and society been emphasized, an integration of a curriculum has been made. The integration of curriculum is composed of an integration of every field. Further, the integration of mathematics and science curriculum is timely needed. In this thesis, a theoretical foundation of integrating mathematics and science curriculum is investigated comparing mathematics need in the 7th curriculum middle school, we investigate some problems of the 7th curriculum and through research the investigate the connection between mathematics and science education. Recognizing the connection between them, we hope that a study for applying a practical education continues.
