Abstract
Russia launched Sputnik; first spacecraft, into the earth's orbit in October 4th, 1957. This was the moment when dream come true toward space, and the era of space technology started. Also, Apollo 17 was launched in July 20, 1969 and was the first human space flight. During cold war, USA and Russia had competitive period of developing space. After the end of cold war era, many developed countries have started developing space exploration capabilities for research. Naro space center was completed in Wenarodo, Goheung-Si, JeunNam, Korea in June 11, 2009, and Korea became the 13th nation possessing space center. In addition, launching of naroho; satellite built with Korean technology, was aborted once, and finally launched in Goheung. It did not reach into the right track due to detaching failure of Fairing, but it was inspiring result that launching was successful. Korea have been making a lot of effort on space development technology following the opening of the space age. However, space development project in Korea is mainly focused on certain technology of projectile and satellite body. The technologies of these projectile and satellite are pretty much behind to the developed countries. To be the world leader of space development, Korea would need to achieve not only development of projectile and satellite but also study on space construction and space exploration,; and Korea is required to increase its budget. In these space exploration and construction field, developed countries have made already progress on living in space, time and budget are insufficient realistically for Koreacally forre is a difficulty to compete with developed countries unless Korea participate in space development with new approach lly idea. As a matter of fact, it is possible that Korea with Korean present space development plan follow the already developed countries. In consequence, Korea needs to benchmark development case countries.ed countries, and carry out study on basic physical exploration and space construction for space development and exploration jumping over limited study on projectile and satellite body. For fundamental physical exploration of the moon and space construction, moon base should be constructed first, and for basic human residence on moon base, the stabilized construction considering sun light, temperature difference, and gravity would be required. It is important to select most appropriated material considering strength and economical efficiency for the construction of stabilized moon base. Most common material of structure construction on the earth is concrete, and the concrete would be used as main material of construction on the Moon as well. Therefore in this study, advantages and disadvantage of earth's concrete will be analyzed, and maximum advantages of the safety and economical factors of concrete for the Moon space will be presented, and develop Lunar Concrete would be developed. The aim of the research is developing and measuring the strength of prototype of Lunar Concrete worldwide.
