Abstract
바흐의 Organ Concerto in d minor, BWV 596은 비발디의 Concerto for 2 violin and violoncello in d minor, Op. 3 No. | Johann Sebastian Bach, one of Baroque composers, paved the way for an important form of organ concerto. Bach was influenced by Italian compositions in Weimar era when he was a court organist. At that time, Bach arranged ten of Antonio Vivaldi's Italian concerto for organ and harpsichord, and five of them still remain as concerto for organ(BWV 592-596). Bach's Organ Concerto in d minor, BWV 596 is an arrangement of Vivaldi's Concerto for 2 violin and violoncello in d minor, Op.3 No.11. And Bach's works created its own unique type which harmonizes his German style with Vivaldi's Italian style. One of the purposes of this study is to examine historical background, forms and features of Baroque concerto. In addition, it also examined Concerto for 2 violin and violoncello in d minor, Op.3 No.11 to understand how Italian style appear in Vivaldi's concerto, and investigated common features of Bach and vivaldi's organ concertos. Finally, this study contemplated the features of Organ Concerto in d minor, BWV 596 and Vivaldi's concertos by comparing the two.; Johann Sebastian Bach, one of Baroque composers, paved the way for an important form of organ concerto.
