직업교육연구 학회지의 연구동향 분석: 내용분석 및 네트워크 분석의 활용

Abstract

본 연구는 최근 10년간 직업교육 관련 대표 학술지인 ‘직업교육연구’에 게재된 논문에 대한 종합적인 분석을 통해 직업교육 관련 연구동향을 파악하고, 향후 발전방향을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 2007년부터 2016년까지 직업교육연구에 게재된 학술지는 총 457편으로 연구자들이 설정한 논문 분석기준에 따라 연구대상 기관, 조사대상, 연구유형 등에 대한 내용분석을 실시하였으며, 각 논문의 연구자가 설정한 주제어의 관계를 분석하는 키워드 네트워크 분석을 통해 연구주제를 분석하였다. 데이터클렌징 작업을 통해 총 1,073종 1,837개의 키워드를 추출하여 키워드 네트워크 분석에 활용하였다.내용분석의 측면에서 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 연구유형을 분류한 결과 양적 연구 방법을 활용한 논문이 가장 많았으며 다음으로 실천적 연구, 질적 연구, 이론적 연구 순으로 분석되었다. 연구결과가 적용되는 기관에 따라 분류한 연구대상은 기업체, 대학교, 보통교육기관, 직업전문교육기관 중 전문계 고교(특성화고, 공업계열고, 마이스터고 등), 공공기관, 전문대학 순으로 나타났다. 또한 조사대상은 근로자, 대학생, 초･중등학생, 교사, 청년 순으로 나타났다. 연구주제를 살펴보기 위해 실시한 전체 네트워크 분석에서는 진로성숙도, 진로준비행동, 자기효능감, 진로장벽, 진로지도의 주제어들이 연결중심성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 매개중심성이 높은 주제어는 자기효능감, 진로성숙도, 자기주도학습능력, 진로준비행동, 직업교육훈련 순으로 분석되었다. 추가적으로 직업교육 분야 주요대상자인 근로자, 대학생, 초중등학생에 대하여 에고네트워크 분석을 실시하고 각 네트워크의 주요키워드 도출 및 구조에 대한 특징을 설명하였다. 본 연구결과를 통해 국내 직업교육 관련 연구동향을 제시하고 향후 직업교육 연구의 발전방향을 제언하였다. The purpose of this study is to understand research trends of vocational education and to seek for the future developmental directions through comprehensive analysis of papers published in ‘The Journal of Vocational Education Research’, a representative academic journal on vocational education for the last ten years. Contents analysis such as institutions for research object, research subject, types of research, etc. was conducted by the researchers’ paper analysis criteria based on the 457 articles published by ‘The Journal of Vocational Education Research’ association from year 2007 to 2016. Also, subject of research was analyzed through keyword network analysis, analyzing relationships of keywords set by the relevant researchers. Keyword network abstracted 1,837 keywords and 1,037 different kinds in total through data cleansing process, and those keywords were used for the research analysis.The results are as follow in terms of contents analysis. In case of types of research, it was classified that papers using the quantitative research method were the most. Also, practical, qualitative, and theoretical research methods were used frequently in the order named. In case of research object, applying the research results on the spot, it was classified that companies, universities, general education institutions, vocational high schools of vocational training institutions(specialized vocational high schools, technical high schools, Meister high schools, etc.), government offices, and colleges applied the research result frequently in the order named. Also, in case of subject of research, workers, university students, elementary and middle school students, teachers and young man became the subject of research frequently in the order named. It was analyzed that through the overall network analysis for the study of the research subject, keywords such as career maturity, career preparation behaviors, self-efficacy, career barriers, career guidance have higher degree centrality. Also, keywords with higher betweenness centrality were analyzed as follow self-efficacy, careere maturity, self-directed learning capability, career preparation behaviors, vocational education and training in the order named. Additionally, ego network analysis was conducted to workers, university students, and elementary and middle school students, who are the main targets in the field of vocational education. Through the ego network analysis, main keywords of each network were drawn, and structural characteristics were explained as well in this paper. This study shows the research trends regarding vocational education using the research results as mentioned above and suggests future developmental directions in the field of vocational education.
