dc.description.abstract | Research on advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) has been actively conducted around the world. ADAS is a driving aid as well as an active safety system to help passengers avoid dangerous situations while driving. Lane change is an operation requiring integrated maneuver in the longitudinal and lateral direction. Also, it always should be performed in consideration of dangerous factors. It is very important to decide the timing of lane change because the lane change is made momentarily and frequently in highway or local roads. In this paper, we propose the control point decision algorithm of our automatic lane change system using the threat evaluation index based on automatically command steering function (ASCF)international standard. The verification of the proposed algorithm is conducted by a scenario experiment using test vehicles. | en_US |
