dc.description.abstract | The recent proliferation of 3G cell phones have drastically increased the demand for USIM products. Considering the situation that most of companies delivering USIM concentrate on developing embedded applications and adopt outsourcing for manufacturing them, it is desirable to establish an efficient production planning. In particular, the USIM products that are subject to rapid technical changes and a long lead time impose challenges in terms of safety stocks and customer satisfaction. To address this problem, this paper presents a production planning based on an adjusted forecasting and an ATP approach. The methodology proposed in this paper have been adopted in a real industry and it is observed that the results of this work fit for an effective production planning. | en_US |
