dc.description.abstractThis paper proposes an efficient path rebuilding algorithm for grid based wireless sensor networks with sink mobility. The key idea of the proposed algorithm is an efficiently reuse of the previous path in path-rebuilding process. For the efficient path reuse, the algorithm divides a network into multiple regions based on the sink mobility pattern and applies different path rebuilding methods to each region. The proposed scheme provides less energy consumption for the rebuilding of dissemination path while the shortest rebuilt path is still guaranteed.en_US
