Abstract
Energy performance diagnosis of existing apartment buildings are becoming important for achieving energy saving. Nowadays, also in situ measurement of U-value using heat flow meters are available. In this paper, present the results of an experimental campaign to assess the wall thermal performance by HFMs. Furthermore, in situ U-values have been compared with the estimated ones from design data and field analyses. The results of the test show a good behavior of HFMs when tests are conducted according to ISO 9869. The paper presents the results of a measurement campaign of in situ thermal transmittance, performed in some buildings in the Seoul region designed implementing ‘Home Energy Efficiency Improvement Project’ solutions.
