dc.description.abstractIn this paper, the noise generated by an automatic teller machine is reduced. To analyze noise sources, the noise and vibration signals are measured by using microphones and accelerometers. Through the signal analysis, the largest frequency component of the noise is identified. It is found that the frequency component is equal to the gear mesh frequency of a source gear. The noise is reduced by improving the support of the source gear.en_US
