- 본 논문은 디드로 후기 정치ㆍ철학 저작 및 소설 '운명론자 자크'에 일관적으로 나타나는 스토아주의 ‘운명론’의 문제를 검토하면서, 이 개념이 만년의 디드로 및 동시대 무신론적 유물론 철학자들에게 어떤 영향을 주었는지 살펴보는 것을 목표로 한다.
