dc.description.abstractLiquid desiccant system is one of the indoor air conditioning systems which control both latent heat and sensible heat load by using liquid desiccant and cooling coil. The liquid desiccant used in this experiment was acid-base. In this study, an experiment was conducted to observe the reduction efficiency of airborne mold and bacteria through the liquid desiccant system. Airborne mold and bacteria were sampled in inlet and outlet of the system to compare concentration changes of airborne mold and microbe before and after the spray of liquid desiccant inside the system. As a result, the liquid desiccant system removed the airborne mold and bacteria by 85% and 40% respectively.en_US
