남북 체육 기초 전문용어의 어종 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 남북의 체육 기초 전문용어의 어종을 분석한 것이다. 남측의 교과서 및 교과서 편수자료를 토대로 체육 기초 전문용어의 목록을 정리하고 그에 대응하는 북측 용어를 찾아 전문가의 검토를 받았다. 확보한 1,175개의 체육 기초 전문용어를 남과 북에서 공통적으로 사용하는 유형과 다르게 사용하는 유형으로 분류한 후 어종을 분석하고 대응 유형을 분류하였다. 어종을 분석한 결과 남북이 동일하게 사용하는 체육 기초 전문용어로는 ‘한자어’의 비율이 가장 높게 나타났다. 다르게 사용하는 용어의 어종은 남측은 ‘외래어’가 압도적이며 북측에서는 ‘고유어’와 ‘한자어’를 선호하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 대응 유형 또한 ‘외래어↔한자어’의 비율이 높았다. 어종 분석을 통해 남북 체육 기초 전문용어의 특징을 파악할 수 있었으며 이는 향후 남북 체육 기초 전문용어 통합의 기초 자료가 될 것이다. This study analyzes word type of SouthžNorth Korea’s basic terminology in sports area. 1,175 cases of researched basic terminology in sports area was classified as different from word category which is common in both South and North Korea, and word type and response of the cases were analyzed and classified. After analyzing the word type of 1,175 cases, it appeared that ‘Sino-Korean’ words are most frequently used in basic terminology of sports area, both in South and North Korea. For the words which are used differently from each country, most words in South Korea belongs to word type ‘loanwords’ preponderantly compared to North Korea. In North Korea, ‘native words’ and ‘Sino-Korean’ words were preferred. Hence, most common response pattern between South and North Korea was ‘loanwords↔Sino-Korean words’. Through analyzing the word types, features of SouthžNorth Korea’s basic terminology in sports area could be researched, and this study will be the foundational data for unifying SouthžNorth Korea’s basic terminology in sports area.
