심화 전문용어의 개념 확립을 위한 시론

Abstract

이 글의 목적은 심화 전문용어의 정의와 개념을 세우고 그 특징을 논의하는 것이다. 우선 심화 전문용어와 관련된 연구의 흐름을 살폈다. 이와 함께 세계 용어학계의 흐름을 정리하였다. 그리고 향후 전문용어 연구 방향을 전망하였다. 이를 바탕으로 심화 전문용어의 필요성에 대해 언급하였다. 다음으로 심화 전문용어의 개념과 정의를 정리하였다. 󰡔표준국어대사전󰡕과 󰡔연세현대한국어사전󰡕, 󰡔고려대 한국어대사전󰡕을 참고하여, 심화의 의미를 논의하였다. 이를 토대로 심화 전문용어의 개념과 정의를 세웠다. 이와 함께 심화 전문용어의 범위를 한정하고, 선정 방안을 논의하였다. 마지막으로 심화 전문용어의 특징을 논의하였다. 기초 전문용어와 구분되는 심화 전문용어의 가장 큰 특징을 단의성으로 보았다. 이를 증명하기 위해 기초 전문용어와 심화 전문용어의 단의성 비율을 정리하였다. 그 결과 물리와 생물 영역은 심화 전문용어의 단의성 비율이 높았으나. 수학은 기초 전문용어의 단의성 비율이 심화 전문용어보다 높았다. The purpose of this paper is to establish a definition and concepts of the advanced terminology and to discuss its characteristics. First it argue the flow of terminology research. This was discussed with the flow of the world's academic of terminology. And we predict the future direction of terminology research. Based on this, it was mentioned about the necessity of the advanced terminology. Next, this paper to summarize the concepts and definitions of the advanced terminology. By reference to the main dictionary, it discussed the meaning of the advanced. Based on this, it built the concepts and definitions of the advanced terminology. And, this limit the scope of the advanced terminology and the way of selection were discussed. Finally, we discuss the features of the advanced terminology. We saw the biggest feature of the advanced terminology is monosemy, which is separated by the basic terminology. To prove this, we research monosemy ratio of the basic terminology and the advanced terminology. As a result, monosemy proportion of the advanced terminology was higher than the basic terminology in physical and biological areas. However, monosemy proportion of the basic terminology was higher than the advanced terminology in mathematics areas.
