Abstract
Noise and vibration are recently studied with great interest. In this paper, the performance of vibration is analyzed according to different winding methods which are 2-layer winding and 4-layer winding. The critical factors for noise and vibration are sub-harmonics which are below fundamental harmonic order. Therefore this paper suggests appropriate winding methods for reducing sub-harmonics in 12-slots/10-poles motor.
