This study was conducted to fabricate sensitive, rapid and efficiency detecting kits for heavy metal by nano composite of gold nanoparticle-silica (GNP-SiO2), which is composed of gold nano particle (GNP) and thiol modified nanoporous silica (SiO2¬-SH) extracted from rice husk ash. L-Glutathione (GSH) was added in detecting kits containing GNP or GNP-SiO2 to enhance its selectivity. All results were analyzed by SEM, TEM, UVD, BET, FTIR and DLS. 12.9 nm GNP detected until 2.34 mM cadmium ions (Cd2+) aqueous solution. GNP-GSH was appeared selectivity to lead ions (Pb2+) than Cd2+ and it detected up to 1.95mM Pb2+ aqueous solution. GNP-SiO2 was prepared to enhance detecting sensitivity and it was taken detecting assay about Cd2+ until 0.97 mM aqueous solution. GNP-SiO2 with GSH was proceeded in detecting experiment about Pb2+, it was confirmed up to 0.97 mM aqueous solution. GNP was as good performance to detect heavy metal as smaller particle size (12.9 nm), usage of adding GSH was brought the results of selectivity for Pb2+ and SiO2-SH was as good as had cylindrical type pore shape at detecting the heavy metals.-
