dc.description.abstractThis paper presents numerical investigation of local cavitation phenomena of water due to the rotor with highly rotational speed which in the heater. The standard k-epsilon turbulence model, the Mixture multiphase model and the Schnerr – Sauer cavitation model were selected. The simulations provided insight into the flow field characteristics inside the heater. The pressure fields and the volume fractions of vapor were predicted respectively for different shapesof rotor. Through the comparison of each case, the optimum solution of the generation of vapor was obtained, which means the best design for heating.en_US
