Development and Verification of EASYQAD Version 2: Visualization Code System for Gamma and Neutron Shielding Calculations

Abstract

EASYQAD had been developed by using Matlab GUI(Graphic User Interface) tool based on QAD-CGGP-A point-kernel code for convenient shielding calculations of gamma and neutron penetration. In the EASYQAD Version 1, it is noted that there are some limitations, in which are the number of sources, source shapes, and some codes errors. In this study, the EAYSQAD Version 2 was developed by adding the specific functions and modifying the code errors.
