Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop a method to evaluate the interior design of domestic fashion flag stores. With the rapidly changing trends and the construction of space according to the lifestyles of customers, a new form of stores called flagship stores representing brands have appeared in the modern commercial space. Therefore, this study aims to develop the checklist that can be used as the baseline data in space planning and renovation of fashion flagship stores. Space components were extracted to develop a checklist through previous studies and literature review. The extracted space components were widely classified into spatial elements and decorative elements. As detailed elements, the spatial elements were classified into wall, ceiling, floor and facade while the decorative elements were classified into the items of lighting, color, furniture, logo, symbol, display, pattern and graphic. In addition, the final checklist was completed by through the analysis of related literature and preliminary research in order to prepare the standard of the 3-point Likert scale needed for conducting space evaluation through the checklist by putting researcher"s related knowledge together. The developed checklist will be used as a guideline on the space planning and renovation of the fashion flagship stores in the future, and it is thought that the reexamination of the checklist items that can embrace both are needed with the development of the customer satisfaction survey items in the future.
