dc.description.abstractFor a long time, flagship stores in Korea were mostly famous western brands. However, since 2000, flagship stores of Korean fashion brands have been spread. Consequently, proper total interior design for Korean fashion flagship stores need to be suggested. In order to find proper total interior design, researchers first have extracted interior specification for space composition elements and interior decorative elements and evaluated Korean fashion flagship stores with various purposes such as SPA brand, general brand, multi shop with this checklist. And then, with information collected from the evaluation, researchers have created detailed criteria for the checklist which could be used as a reference for shop planning or remodeling.The scope of this study is limited to five fashion flagship stores located in Myeongdong. The results are as follows.1) For space composition elements of the Korean brand fashion flagship stores, floor interior is good, however, the interior deigns for height and display space of walls need to be improved.2) For interior decorative elements of the Korean brand fashion flagship stores, lightening is good, however, logos and symbols and furnitures were not properly functioning.3) The space composition elements for evaluating interior design of flagship stores are i) whether there is enough space on walls and ceiling for display of merchandises, facilities, and decorations, ii) whether the floor and facade are without visual uncomfortableness and harmonious with entire shop. The interior decorative elements for evaluating interior design of flagship stores are i) visual function of lightening and color, ii) arrangement of furniture and display considering moving flow, iii) number and size of logos, symbols, patterns and graphic as point decorations.en_US
