PLS 회귀분석을 이용한 도시철도 서비스 만족도 영향요인 규명 - 서울시 도시철도 이용자를 중심으로 -

Abstract

본 연구는 서울시 도시철도 이용자를 대상으로 서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 이동단계별로 고려하여 규명하고자 하였다. 분석의 틀과 방법론적인 측면에서는 이동단계별로 도시철도 이용자 서비스에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 선정한 후, 다중공선성 및 표본수 문제 해결을 위해 PLS 회귀분석을 이용하여 도출하였다. 분석결과 도시철도 이용자 서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 출발지에서 역사까지의 접근시간, 환승구역 내의 혼잡정도, 열차 내 안전성, 객차 내의 쾌적성, 열차 이동시 느끼는 안전성 정도, 직원의 친절성, 객차 내의 시설편리성, 역사내 안전성, 지불요금대비 이동시간에 대한 만족도, 역사 내의 쾌적성 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과에서 알 수 있듯이 도시철도 서비스 제고를 위해서는 도시마다 도시철도 이용자 서비스에 영향을 미치는 요인들이 차이가 있음을 인지하고 그에 따른 개선방안 수립이 필요하다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 서울시 도시철도 서비스 만족도 제고를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 이동단계별 세부적인 항목의 고려 인하여 직접적인 서비스 향상을 이룰 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.This study investigates factors affecting the satisfaction level of subway users considering transferring process in Seoul. As the analytical and systemic approach, it selects a number of main causes affect on subway service and then it uses PLS (Partial Least Square) regression analysis to solve problem of multicollinearity and a number of sample data. According to the research, many factors having an effect on the satisfaction level of passengers in descending order are as follows: approaching time from originations to subway stations, congestion inside the transition zones, safety in trains, amenity in trains, safety of moving trains, kindness of staff, facility convenience of passenger coaches, safety in stations, satisfaction on travel time, and amenity in stations. As a result of this study, the necessity to distinguish various factors will arise and the difference of the influential factors will decide the level of subway service in urban area. This study will be a useful tool to identify the basic data to raise quality of the subway service in Seoul and bring a huge improvement of the direct service by considering and evaluating each items of the transferring process in detail.
