- Abstract
- The article focuses on the rival between Moscow, Russia and Brussels, Belgium over the integration projects in Balkans. Topics discussed include the economic crisis in 2014 which diminishes the standing and prestige of the European Union (EU) throughout Balkans, 2008 eurozone economic crisis and the announcement of Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding Russia's plan in Balkans, and relationship between the members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and EU.
