김현 비평의 아이러니적 상상력 분석

Abstract

이 연구에서는 4.19 세대의 주요 비평가인 김현의 비평 가운데 상상력 관련 논의를 살펴봄으로써 그가 한국 문학 안에서 '아이러니적 상상력 비평' 영역을 확보했음을 밝히고자 한다. 이를 위하여 김현에게 영향을 준 프랑스 제네바학파의 상상력 관련 담론을 요약하고, 그것이 어떻게 '아이러니적 상상력 비평'으로 수렴되는지 살펴보았다. 그리고 김현의 평론에서 정적 이미지를 동적으로, 모순ㆍ부정을 융합ㆍ긍정으로 활성화 시키는 아이러니적 상상력 비평의 실제 사례를 살펴보았다. 김현은 세계문학에 보편적인 '상상력' 비평 방법으로써 시 작품을 분석하는 전통을 국내 비평계에 소개하였다, 그리고 문학과 비평의 실천이 필요충분조건(문혁융비평)으로 서로를 구속할 수 있음을 입증하였다. 독자의 쾌락 추구권을 공적으로 담론화한 김현 이후로 한국 문학에서는 작가의 상상력만큼이나 비평가의 주체적 상상력도 중요하게 여겨지고 있다.This study has attempted to unveil the fact that Kim Kyun, a renowned critic from the so-called April 19th Generation, secured 'Criticism of Ironic Imagination' in Korean literature by investigating imagination- related debates among his comments. For this, it has summarized the imagination-related discussions of French Geneva School which had an effect on him and figured out how they converged into 'the Criticism of Ironic Imagination.' In addition, the actual cases of 'the Criticism of Ironic Imagination,' which change static images to dynamic ones and irony & negative aspect to convergence & positive aspect have been examined. He introduced the tradition to analyze poems in a way of criticizing universal 'imagination' in world literature to Korean criticism. He has proven that the literature and criticism can bind to each other as a necessary and sufficient condition (literature ⇔ criticism). Since the emergence of Kim Hyun who publicly discussed readers' right to pursue pleasure, critics' subjective imagination has been taken as seriously as an author's imagination in Korean literature.
