Abstract
<The Berlin File> directed by Ryu Seung-wan is a metaphor for the anxiety on the Korean Peninsula. This film is set in Berlin, which was the symbolic place of the Sunshine Policy, that was damaged by the Lee Myung-bak administration. This intelligence war shown as the reticular issue on Korean Peninsula. it`s not a only inter-Korean issue. This narrative which is a story about the spies made expendable by a power struggle is an allegory of a labor struggle fired by capital. And also it warns misdeeds which made by the spies’ act that was slipped into profession. This film has meaning that is described the North Korean regime of stereoscopic view more than another movies based on North Korea. But this film reflects the trend which is visualized and exaggerated the fear.
