17세기 전쟁서사의 소설사적 특성과 의의

Abstract

이 논문은 17세기의 전쟁서사가 이전의 작품과 어떻게 다른지 살피 고, 그것의 의미를 살펴본 것이다. 첫째, 17세기에는 이전 시기 낭만적 사랑을 그린 작품은 사라지고, 전쟁서사가 주로 나타나는데 이들은 공 통적으로 고통의 문제를 다루고 있으며, 여러 사람들이 고통에 공감하 는 방향으로 변화하는 모습을 담고 있다. 둘째, 이전 시기의 서사에서는 추상적, 전체적으로 다른 나라 사람을 이해하는 모습을 보였는데, 이 시 기 서사에서는 구체적인 인간 개개인에 주목하여 그들의 심리를 그렸다. 셋째, 성리학적 교훈과 윤리를 서사에 견고히 표현했던 이전 서사와 달 리 이 시기 서사에는 국가 이데올로기가 흔들리는 모습을 구체적으로 담았다. 나아가 국가나 이념을 넘어서는 공동체 형성의 모습까지 이 시 기 서사에 드러난다. 이런 17세기 전쟁 서사의 특성은, 함께 한 시대의 지난한 삶을 살며 서로 공감하고 함께 거처하기도 했던 역사적인 경험이라는 점에서, 현 대에 이루어지고 있는 동아시아 공동체 논의에서 부각시킬 필요가 있다.In this paper, I explained war novels of 17th century, how it differs from previous novels. Its features are as follows. The novels that were written about love was gone, the novels that were written about suffering appeared. The novels that were written about abstract representation of the mind is gone, the novels that paid attention to an individual’s sentiment inside. Previous period, confucian scholars and politicians used novels to popularize the philosophy and ethics of Confucianism. But the novels of 17th century war novels expressed a community Beyond ideology and nationality. Those novels are important when we discuss a East Asia community. Because it is a historical example that East Asia had become one of the people despite of the difference of nationality.
