웰니스 관광시설 선호도 및 선호선택 : 건강 리조트 잠재 관광객을 대상으로

Abstract

본 연구는 건강리조트 개발에 대한 기초적인 탐색을 목적으로 3가지 대안의 건강리조트 시설 선호도 및 대안 선택에 미치는 인구학적 변인과 관광이용행태 변인의 영향력을 파악하고자 하였다. 2013년 8월 20일 부터 28일 까지 건강 리조트 잠재 관광객인 총 564명이 온라인 조사에 참여하였으며, 설문대상 건강시설은 고려인삼을 활용한 친환경 건강테마파크, 인삼농업을 활용한 체험 및 자연휴양형 농장, 그리고 문화 활동과 휴식을 향유하는 자연형 휴양리조트였다. 선형회귀분석과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 사용한 결과, 3가지 대안별 시설 중 선호하는 선택 비율은 문화 활동과 휴식을 향유하는 자연형 휴양리조트가 가장 높게 분석되었으며, 인삼농업을 활용한 체험 및 자연휴양형 농장, 친환경 건강테마파크 순으로 나타났다. 게다가, 소득, 연령, 성별, 숙박일, 여행횟수, 여행경비, 숙박유형에 따른 3가지 대안의 건강리조트 시설 선호도 및 대안 선택에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 국내외 레저, 관광 및 건강 산업의 환경 변화에 대응을 위해 보다 다양한 영향 요인을 반영한 건강리조트 시설 선택 모델에 대한 연구가 향후 이루어져야 할 것으로 판단된다.This study aims to investigate the effects of demographic variables and travel behavior variables on preferences and selection of three alternative resort facilities. A total of 564 potential tourists to health resort participated in the online questionnaires conducted from Aug. 20, 2013 to Aug. 28, 2013. The health resort facilities include eco-friendly health theme park using the Korean Ginseng, the experience and natural farm using the ginseng farming and the natural type resting resort where the cultural activities and resting are available. As a result of multiple and logistic regression analysis, the natural type resting resort where the cultural activities and resting are available turned out to be most preferred, followed by the experience and natural farm using the ginseng farming, and eco-friendly health theme park. In addition, it was found that the factors such as income, age, sex, number of overnight stays, number of trips per year, travel expenses, and types of accommodation significantly proved to have significant effects on the preference and selection of the alternatives. However, it is believed that in future, work on models of the selection of health resort facilities should be carried out, which reflect more diversified factors for better response to the changes in domestic and foreign leisure, tourism, and health industries.
