문자 언어에 나타난 청소년의 언어 실태 연구

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 청소년들의 문자 언어 사용 실태를 조사함으로써 청소년의 언어 문제를 올바로 파악하고 이에 대한 교육 방안이나 정책을 세우는 데 토대를 마련코자 한다. 청소년들이 사용하고 있는 비속어·유행어·은어의 사용 비율은 총 어절 수 대비 평균 7%로 나타났다. 텍스트 유형별로 살펴보면, 롤링페이퍼가 11%로 비속어·유행어·은어 사용 비율이 가장 높게 나타났다. 다음으로 ``작문 8%>댓글 6%>다이어리 5%>메신저 3%`` 순의 사용 비율을 보였다. 그리고 학교급이 높아질수록 비속어·유행어·은어 사용이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 청소년의 언어 사용 실태를 살펴본 결과, 청소년들의 비속어·유행어·은어 사용 실태는 매우 심각한 수준이었다. 사용이 불가한 대상인 윗사람에 대한 욕설도 출현하고 있었고, 학교 수업 시간에도 무분별하게 사용하고 있었다. 비속어·유행어·은어의 무분별한 사용은 언어 파괴를 가속화시키는 결과를 가져오고, 세대 간의 소통 단절을 부추기고 있다. 이러한 문제에 대응하기 위해서는 청소년 언어 사용 실태에 대해 여러 각도에서 심도 있는 조사가 시행되어야 하고, 문제 해결을 위한 언어 및 교육 정책 수립도 필요할 것으로 보인다.The purpose of this study is to survey the actual condition of adolescents` using written language. Observing adolescents` language life, the use of expletives, buzz-words, and teenage slangs is excessive. Thus, a problem of using language can be known to get very serious enough to disrupt daily language life. Therefore, the aim is to rightly grasp adolescents` language problem and to arrange foundation in establishing educational plan or policy for this, by surveying the actual condition of adolescents`` using language. The ratio of using expletives, buzz-words, and teenage slangs, which are being used by adolescents, was indicated to be averagely 7% compared to total word-phrase number. The ratio of use was indicated with 11% for rolling paper, 8% for writing, 6% for reply, 5% for diary, and 3% for messenger. It was indicated that the higher school level leads to the more rise in expletives, buzz-words, and teenage slangs. The actual condition of adolescents`` using expletives, buzz-words, and teenage slangs was in a very serious level. Even curse against elder, who is subject unavailable for being used, was appearing. It was being used recklessly even during school class.
