dc.description.sponsorship이 글은 성해응의 『연경재전집』에 수록된 곡물명 중에서 잡곡명 54개의 어휘체계사를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 우선 성해응은 18, 19세기에 걸쳐 규장각의 편찬 사업에 참여하면서 말년에 188권 102책으로 구성된 거질의 『연경재전집』을 남겼다. 이 책은 경사자집을 모두 아우르는 백과사전적 성격을 갖고 있다. 이 책의 외집 子餘草木類 穀品에서 잡곡명을 확인할 수 있다. 이들은 모두 7개의 상위어 <黍 기장>, <稷 피>, <粟 조>, <大豆>, <小豆>, <麥 보리>, <荏> 아래에 나타난다. ``기장``은 고유어로서 문헌상으로는 『내훈』에서 처음 보인다. ``기장``은 한자어 ``黍, 미, 제, 미子, 大黃米``의 대응 고유어였다. 이 중에서 ``黍``는 『농사직설』과 『금양잡록』에서도 보인다. ``피``는 문헌상으로는 『훈민정음해례본』에서부터 보이기 시작한다. 한자어 ``稷, 稗, 稷米, 稗子, 稗子米, 稷米``의 대응어였다. 오늘날 "기장 직"의 새김으로 알려진 한자 ``稷``은 역사적으로는 "피(稗)"와 동의어였던 것으로 판단된다. ``조`` 혹은 ``좁쌀``은 한자어 ``粟, 粟米, 小米``의 대응 고유어이다. 18세기의 『몽어유해』에서 ``좁』``이 오늘날의 어형에 시사하는 바가 크다. ``콩`` 혹은 ````은 한자어 ``菽, 大豆, 黃豆, 豆子, 豆, 賊菽``의 대응 고유어이다. 참고로 『금양잡록』에서는 콩을 ``太``로 인식하였다. ````은 한자어 ``荳, 豆, 小豆``에 대응하는 고유어이다. ``보리``는 한자어 ``래, 모, 大麥, 麥子``에 대응하는 고유어이다. 특기할 점은 ``보리``와 ``밀``의 상위어로 ``麥 보리``를 삼고 있다는 점이다. 『훈몽자회』나 『색경』을 통해서 알 수 있듯이 원래 ``荏``은 ``들깨``를 의미했다. 한편 『금양잡록』에는 보이지 않으나 ``油麻``가 일찍이 『농사직설』에서부터 ``水荏子``에 대한 표제항으로 나타난다.This study is aimed specifically at the historical analysis of "mixed grains lexicon" system, exclusive of rice lexicon in Yeon-gyeongje jeonjip. As the purpose of this paper is concerned, it is necessary to discuss the figure and the text in detail. Seong Hae-eung (1760~1839) worked in government services in the period that the JeongJo that was the King of the Joseon dynasty governed in. He worked with his father in Gyujang-gak that was Academy House in Chosun dynasty. Seong Hae-eung who entered the twilight of his life bequeathed us Yeon-gyeongje jeonjip 『硏經齋全集』 about 188 volumes) in 1840(?). For the history of "mixed grains lexicon" system in Yeon-gyeongje jeonjip 『硏經齋全集』, I looked all around carefully at the bibliographic data of 17 books. First I looked at Nongsajlkseol 『農事直說』and Geumyangjaprok 『衿陽雜錄』 in the 15 century. Second I looked at Hunmongjahoe 『訓蒙字會』 and Sinjeungyuhap『新增類合』in the 16 century. Third I looked at Donguibogam 『東醫寶鑑』, Saekgyeong 『穡經』 and Yeokeoyuhae 『譯語類解』 in the 17 century. Fourth I looked at Dongmunyuhae 『同文類解』, Mongeoyuhae 『蒙語類解』, Bangeonyuseok 『方言類釋』, Hancheongmungam 『漢淸文鑑』, Waeeoyuhae 『倭語類解』, Haneocho 『漢語抄』and Jaemulbo 『才物譜』 in the 18 century. Finally I looked at Mulmyeonggo 『物名攷』, Limwonsipyukji 『林園十六志』, Gwangjaemulbo 『廣才物譜』in the 19 century. In order to pursuit the etymology of "mixed grains lexicon" in Yeon-gyeongje jeonjip (『硏經齋全集』), The 102 numbers of "rice and mixed grains lexicon" were contained in the plants and trees class of Yeon-gyeongje jeonjip. They belonged to the 8 numbers hyperonyms. Their hyperonyms were <稻 rice>, <黍 proso>, <稷 pea>, <粟 millet>, <大豆 bean>, <小豆 adzuki beans>, <麥 barley>, <荏 sesame> ordering. Among these the hyponyms of <黍 proso>, <稷 pea>, <粟 millet>, <大豆 bean>, <小豆 adzuki beans>, <麥 barley>, <荏 sesame> contained in the 54 numbers of the mixed grains lexicon. In this papers I divded into 7 categores. And I pursuited the analysis of the etymology of mixed grains lexicon. From what has been discussed above, we can conclude that the history of the ``mixed grains lexicon`` system fluctuated with the century.en_US
