Abstract
? It is proven in the paper that the radial crack appears earlier than circumferential crack experimentally. ? Crack morphology and cracking speed history is investigated. ? Cracking speed in PVB laminated glass is firstly measured (i.e. v = 811 m/s) and it is faster than that in PMMA and slower in pure glass. ? Cracking speed will increase with the external impact energy with an upper limit.
