저소득층 취학아동을 위한 디자인 창의교육의 필요성과 방향에 대한 연구 -‘소외’와 ‘치유’의 관점에서-

Abstract

Contemporary design has been mentioned as a way to relieve economic and social inequality as well as to enrich human life more comfortable. Government has been promoting cultural and artistic support business for lower class children since 2004, and a variety of socially Mecenat projects are being continued. However, these efforts would be passive and short- term solution in that national and social effort for lower class children should be implemented to make them as a creative leader in the future. Design creativity education should be an essential process for lower class children; because, psychological healing could be occurred with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction of mind rather than just the delivery of knowledge. Therefore, in this study, we tried to analyze lower class children`s psychological state and find out the reason design creativity education would be necessary. After that, we proposed some standards for successful this education. In this study, it is important to identify the relationship between lower class children, alienation, design, creative education and healing; therefore, we referred the education, social psychology, specializing in foreign books and other related thesis, published academic papers, government reports, and other reference materials. In this study, we derive criteria based on preliminary Study about the Design creativity education. After that, by examining the cases of domestic and overseas education programs, directions of future creative education are suggested to move. The results of the study was as in the following; the psychology of alienation is inherent in lower class children in common and it is easy to fall in frustration and loneliness. The process of healing, team work program through various digital education, open minded of instructor must be carried for successful education for lower class children and avoid to carry out design education program as a just one-time event. In these long-term perspective of research for the underprivileged should be continued.현대의 디자인은 인간의 삶을 더 편하고 풍요롭게 할 뿐만 아니라 경제적·사회적 불평등을 해소하기위한 방법으로 거론되고 있다. 국가적으로는 소외계층중 저소득 취학아동을 위한 문화예술지원사업이 2004년부터 추진되고 있으며 사회적으로는 다양한 기업의메세나 사업이 지속적으로 진행되고 있다. 하지만 저소득 취학아동이 미래의 창의적인 인재로 육성되기위해서 국가적·사회적 노력이 있어야 한다는 관점에서 볼 때, 이러한 노력들은 소극적이고 근시안적인 대처일 뿐이라 할 수 있다. 디자인 창의교육은 단순한지식의 전달보다 문제해결을 통한 성취감과 만족감을 얻으며 심리적인 치유를 할 수 있기 때문에 저소득취학아동을 위한 장기적인 교육에 있어서 필수적인과정으로 자리잡아야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 저소득층 취학아동의 심리상태를 분석하고 이를 치유하는 방법으로써 디자인 창의교육이 왜 필요한지 알아본 후, 그 교육이 어떠한 방향으로 진행되어야 하는지제안하려는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 저소득 취학아동, 소외, 디자인 창의교육, 치유간의 관계를 규명하는 것이 중요하기 때문에 교육학, 사회심리학,디자인학 등의 관련 국내외 전문서적과 학위논문, 학술발표논문, 정부보도자료 등을 참고하였다. 디자인창의교육에 관한 선행연구를 분석하여 교육프로그램의 기준을 도출하고, 이를 토대로 국내외의 사례를 검토하여 미래 디자인 창의교육이 나아갈 방향을 제시하였다. 연구범위는 국내의 경우 정부, 지자체, 초등학교, 기업에서 행하여지는 디자인교육프로그램, 국외의 경우 영국, 프랑스, 미국, 핀란드 디자인교육 프로그램으로 정하였다. 연구의 결과, 저소득 취학아동은 공통적으로 소외의 심리를 갖게 되어 쉽게 좌절감과 외로움에 빠지게 되므로 디자인 창의교육의 문제해결과정을 통해 성취감과 만족감을 얻게 해야 한다. 또한 이러한 디자인 창의교육을 위해서는 프로그램 내부의 치유의 과정 포함, 다양한 디지털 교육을 통한 팀워크작업 유도, 단발적 프로그램 지양, 교사의 열린 사고의 네 방향으로 진행되어야 한다. 앞으로도 이러한 장기적인 안목에서 소외계층을 위한 교육에 대한 연구는 계속되어져야 할 것이다.
