면대면 학습과 사이버 가정학습의 학습 효과 비교

Abstract

본 연구는 사이버 가정학습 프로그램을 개발하고, 면대면 수업과 사이버 가정학습 수업의 학업성취도 및 수업 만족도, 수업 효과성을 비교ㆍ분석하고자 시도되었다. 초등학교 5 학년 남ㆍ여 학생 157 명을 연구 대상으로 선정하여, 2009 개정 교육과정 초등학교 5 학년 과학 4 단원 ‘작은 생물의 세계’를 학습단원으로 선택하였다. 사이버 가정학습을 진행하기 위하여 ‘사이버 과학학습’이라는 강좌를 연구자가 개설하고, 작은 생물의 세계’ 의 12 차시 수업 중 3~4, 5~6 차시 강좌를 선정하였다. 실험집단에게는 사이버 가정학습을 이수하도록 하고, 통제집단은 오프라인 상에서 연구자가 면대면 수업을 실시하였다. 학업성취도에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위해 실험집단과 통제집단의 사전검사를 통제한 후 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 학업성취도 전체와 지식, 탐구 각각의 하위영역에서 학업성취도가 유의미하게 나타났다. 즉, 과학적 지식 및 탐구영역에서 학업성취도를 높이는데 사이버 가정학습이 교사의 면대면 수업보다 더 효과적인 학습방법으로 나타났다. 또한, 학생들이 인식하는 면대면 수업과 사이버 가정학습의 수업 만족도와 수업 효과에 대해 알아보았다. 각 수업에 따른 만족도와 효과에 대한 일반적인 인식을 알아보기 위해 기술통계 하였다. 만족도와 학습효과의 집단 간 차이를 알아보기 위해 독립표본 t-검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과로 사이버 가정학습에서는 재미와 추천요인이, 면대면 학습요인에서는 질적 수업 자료 요인에서 높은 만족도를 갖는 것을 알 수 있었다. The purposes of this study are to develop cyber home study program and to compare the academic achievement, class satisfaction, and effect of teacher's lecture in class with cyber home study. Elementary 5th grade male and female 157 students are participated in this study. The experimental group participated in cyber home study through on-line class. The control group participated in Teacher's lecture through off-line class. To verify the effect of academic achievement, controling the pretest of experimental group and control group, ANCOVA was carried out. The difference of academic achievement and academic achievements of every low levels of knowledge and research were meaningful. In the realm of scientific knowledge and research, cyber home study is effective learning method than face-to-face teaching. The class satisfaction level and effect which experimental and control group recognize were analyzed. To analyze general recognition of class satisfaction and effect, statistical analysis was performed. To check the difference of satisfaction and effect, t-test was carried out. As a result, cyber home study has higher satisfaction in interest and recommendation factors, teacher's lecture in class has higher satisfaction in qualitative lecture material factor.
