국립공원 생태관광체험프로그램의 지역별 경제파급효과 분석

Abstract

본 연구에서는 국립공원 생태관광체험프로그램에 참여하는 생태관광객의 특성을 지역별로 분석하고, 이들이 지출한 금액을 기초로 지역별 생태관광의 경제적 영향력을 산출하였다. 지역별 경제적 영향력은 지역산업연관분석을 활용하였다. 분석결과 생태관광체험프로그램 참가자는 주로 주거지에서 가까운 인근의 국립공원을 방문하는 특징이 있으며, 단기간 방문 비율이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났고, 학습체험이나 친목도모의 목적을 위한 참가가 많았다. 국립공원 생태관광체험프로그램 참가자의 전국적 소비 지출액은 약127억 원인 것으로 나타났고, 지역별 관광산업 유발계수를 적용한 생산유발효과는 약 183억 원, 소득유발효과는 약 44억 원, 부가가치유발효과는 약 98억 원, 세수유발효과는 약10억 원이며, 약 332명의 취업유발효과를 발생시키는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 지역 내 경제파급효과를 극대화하기 위해 지역별로 차별화되고, 장기체류를 유도할 수 있는 생태관광체험프로그램 개발이 필요함을 시사하고 있다. This study analyzed the characteristics of ecotourists who were participating in the ecotourism experience programs of national parks and inferred economic impacts of them. Regional I-O analysis was adopted to infer provincial economic impacts. This study found that most visitors participating in the programs were the people living at neighboring national park; the ratio of short-term visit was very high; the visit purposes were education for nature and bonds of friends and relations through travel. The total expenditure, that is, national expenditure, of the programs inferred to 12.7 billion won. Output-induced impact resulted from the total expenditure was estimated to 18.3 billion won; income-induced impact was 4.4 billion won; value added-induced impact was 9.8 billion won; tax-induced impact was 1 billion won; employee-induced impact was 332 person. The result of this study implies that it may be necessary to develop an ecotourism experience program that can induce long-term stay at park which are aiming to achieve maximizing economic impact for local economy.
