This study investigates the effect of both psychological and social capital on individual performance and the moderating effect of psychological capital on the relationship between social capital and individual performance. This study analyzed the surveys from 415 employees who worked at three branches of Ga Mone Pwint shopping malls, Yangon, Myanmar. The main finding of this study are as follows. First, psychological capital had a positive impact on individual performance, measured by the company’s yearly performance records. Second, both friendship in-degree centrality and advice in-degree centrality, the variables used to measure social capital, had a positive impact on individual performance. The main effects were all statistically significant at the 0.05 level. Third, the moderating effect of psychological capital was found only for the relationship between advice in-degree centrality and individual performance.-
